I focus on crafting meaningful experiences that tell a story by simplifying the journey and creating a conversation with the user. This can be accomplished by listening to the users needs, setting the correct goal(s) and then working hard to exceed their expectations. Incorporating emotion and showing empathy allows for a trustful relationship.

Before I begin on any project, I dive deep into research -- contextual inquiry, competitive analysis and user feedback. Eye on the prize. User-driven design.

I collect this information and apply it by discerning who my target audience is and their main objectives. Mapping the journey and having a collective understanding of the problem makes brainstorming and collaborating with others far more efficient. I challenge myself to push beyond current trends and technologies that could limit creativity, instead I pursue the most advantageous and inspiring solutions possible.

Visual aesthetics is more than an opportunity to delight the user but also, to bring personality and charm to the entire experience. Imaginative solutions that are not bound simply by a screen but can encroach in on the world around the user. While also being humble and relying on users feedback to help mold and shape the final solution.

I strive be to innovative while not sacrificing fundamental design principles along the way. I have pride in my craft and respect for my audience. This drives me to create wonder and utility.
